Verdict
A former Ballydoyle inmate, CANARY WHARF has won twice on the all-weather for Marco Botti. He handled soft ground well enough in Ireland and is taken to follow up his latest win at Kempton off what could still prove a lenient mark back on Turf. Docs Legacy has only managed to win a bumper on the Polytrack since 2011 but Indepub won twice over hurdles for Donald McCain last year and has a shout off his current mark now back with Kevin Ryan. The French import Gran Maestro will handle the underfoot conditions after a couple of outings on Polytrack for Ruth Carr while The Fun Crusher is lightly-raced and has potential for improvement. The same comment applies to Star Lahib, the easy winner of a maiden at Ripon in August but having her first outing since.
