In depth

Verdict

A tricky race with only two of the six runners having previously seen a racecourse. Rue De Paris has the best form to offer after finishing in creditable positions at Redcar and Carlisle and any improvement should see him go very close in what will probably turn out to be a very moderate contest. Now Then Sophie was disappointing last time out after a promising debut and may be best watched while her stablemate Pihelpline is bred for speed but was a very cheap purchase. Romany Nights has distinct possibilities for a trainer who can get them ready at the first time of asking, while the same can be said of St Austell. David Nicholls is not noted for debut winners so Rectangle may be best watched.
