In depth

Verdict

Optima Petamus is only 1-30, which doesn’t enforce the belief that he’ll be capable of winning here from 2lb out of the handicap. Sellingallthetime hasn’t won for a very long time and was easily beaten in a claimer at Catterick last time. Clenymistra went close two runs ago and is back over his best trip but would still probably need a career-best to take this. My Fantasea is better on the all-weather but WOTABREEZE is more than capable of winning a race like this if in the mood. That wasn’t the case last time at Carlisle but he’s only 2lb higher than when successful at Ripon previously and he’s won off a higher mark in the past.
