      Verdict

EKHTIYAAR has been keeping better company than this so far this year. A progressive sprinter last term when landing a couple of decent handicaps at Newmarket, he’ll go close if proving as effective on the all-weather. Shanghai Glory was only third at Epsom last time but the winner has since gone in again while Staxton has a shout on a recent fourth at York and Volatile ran well at Chelmsford last time. Raucous was in front of Solar Flair when winning at Goodwood but has been beaten subsequently and Summerghand’s winning run came to end off today’s mark at Ayr last week. Visionary faced a tough task last time and could go well with an apprentice’s allowance helping his cause.
