Verdict

DELTA WORK (NAP) is one to look forward to over fences this season. The Pertemps winner was beaten only a neck by Next Destination in the Grade 1 Daily Mirror Novices' Hurdle on his final start in April and will be a short price to make a successful start over the bigger obstacles. His stable companion Ben Dundee ran in very tough handicaps over timber after winning a Punchestown handicap a year ago and is another who should do well over fences. Moyross did well over hurdles but was always more likely to make a chaser and he'll have learnt plenty from his debut at Tipperary. His stablemate Niven looks certain to win over fences before long after three runs though takes on some potentially useful types.
