Verdict

BALLYHOME is having a first run for Fergal O’Brien after a break but found only one too good at Kempton in April on his handicap debut and Connor Brace’s claim more than makes up for a 4lb rise. Maybe Mickey has improved with each run and is also unexposed. Hermanus won at Cartmel and Bangor in the summer but has had limitations exposed since and Askari looks a bigger danger on recent efforts at Clonmel and Bangor. The three-year-old Jaycols Star may be best of the rest ahead of The Tangler Barry, who has only shown modest form so far under Rules.
