      Verdict

DENMEAD was an all-weather specialist on the Flat but stayed well and he made an impressive debut over hurdles at Huntingdon for new connections. He looks more than capable of defying a penalty in this company. He’s A Goer won over 2m at Warwick in September but ran a shocker over this trip at Bangor earlier. Leodis won on the Flat in June but was tailed off in a three-runner race here last month on his hurdles bow. Skidoosh is surely better than he showed at Warwick but Mayohill may need fences and softer going to show his best.
