Verdict
Chief Justice won for Richard Fahey at Worcester in August and has won both starts for Gordon Elliott but he was no match for Cracker Factory at Aintree in the summer and meets Alan King’s gelding on 3lb worse terms. The latter probably came up against a useful newcomer when losing his unbeaten record at Market Rasen and has every chance of getting back on track today. However, KING D’ARGENT was always going well when making a winning debut over track and trip last month and can take this step up in class in his stride and end the unbeaten run of Ormesher. Pilgrim Soul made several mistakes at Chepstow and will need to jump better but the better ground here will help and she could run into a place at decent odds.
