Verdict

Gordon Elliott has won this five times in nine years so Glens Finale, who looked a stayer in the making over 2m7f at Thurles, should go well despite a penalty for a bumper victory. La Chanteuse also carries extra for her success in a bumper and Joseph O'Brien looks to have the answer to this. Winning point-to-pointer Battle Of Actium will have found 2m too short on his hurdling debut at Naas though it's stablemate FUN LIGHT who looks the one to beat. Runner-up to The Bosses Oscar on his hurdling bow at Leopardstown in December, the winner now has a rating of 138 and normal progress should see the five-year-old get off the mark. Captain Mc disappointed on heavy going at Limerick and needs to get back to his previous form.
