In depth

Verdict

Oh So True was nowhere near her best when tackling this trip for the first time at Fairyhouse but her earlier runs put her in the frame for this. SILVER FOX started favourite on his comeback on the same track but probably just needed the run. The son of Galileo can only improve and may be good enough. Classify looked a certain future winner when runner-up at Roscommon but didn't run up to that form at Leopardstown earlier this month. Chiricahua missed a race at Naas on Wednesday for this and had the selection behind when runner-up to the smart Degraves at Navan in October. He was outclassed in the Irish Derby but this is obviously a huge drop in grade, though he's likely to be a very warm order.
