Verdict

Chakisto should have won by now and keeps climbing the weights but he should soon lose his maiden tag and won't get many better opportunities. However, COURT JESTER (NAP) who won this in 2012 and finished third a year ago, has run all of his best races in very testing conditions and on this track so looks the one to be on. Forjoethepainter has had 28 career starts and never raced over a trip this short but Whipper's Boy ran better than his finishing position suggests at Punchestown after landing a Wexford maiden and can get into the action. Noble Call has won once in 42 career starts and would probably need quicker ground.
