Verdict
Jack Kennedy will have been in demand at the fixture and has been snapped up for Solar Heat, whose close second to Deputy Marshall at Galway in October puts him in the picture though he's 6lb higher and been well beaten at Dundalk subsequently. Balkinstown, a winner over this trip on the Flat, has yet to score over hurdles but has gone close on several occasions and this could be his day. Jeremy's Jet has shown a glimmer of ability and that could be enough to get him into the frame while the lightly-raced Angus Milan can make his presence felt despite a big weight. Sunrae Shadow ran his best race for some time at Punchestown a fortnight ago and wouldn't need to do much more to get involved but a chance is taken with COURT JESTER, who won this in 2012 and wasn’t beaten far off a higher mark last year.
