In depth

Verdict

Bold Assassin has potential and showed up well for a long way before falling on his chasing debut at Cork. Champagne Sparkles made a fair debut over fences at Tramore but didn't make the expected improvement at Wexford. Stable companion FAKIR D'ALENE looks a more likely winner as the winning point-to-pointer and hurdler made an encouraging start over fences at Cork and normal progress can see him go one better. Both Oscer Romero and Dympnas Well won three times over hurdles during the summer while Skol was in front when unseating at Thurles last week. Josh D'id scored over hurdles in France and looks one to keep on the right side.
