Gordon Elliott has a fine record in this and both Smooth Player and Ringdufferin have done enough to merit respect though the stable's Cardamon Hill would prove more of a threat if getting a run from his reserve spot. EYE VAN's second in a Clonmel Grade 3 in February is the stand-out form here and he was only headed in the closing stages on a return visit earlier this month.
