STRAPLESS is handed the vote after another reasonable but one-paced effort behind Pussycat Lips at Killarney. There's a line of form through runner-up Lightnin Hopkins that suggests Washboard Sam, who looks the best of his rivals, has a difficult task. Ger Lyons' charge looked very inexperienced when a close third to Boston Rocker at Fairyhouse when stablemate Lightnin Hopkins was runner-up, but was receiving 7lb that day and is conceding masses of weight here as Jim Bolger is putting a 10lb claimer up. Caged Lightning has been going well enough in similar events but like Cut Me Loose has plenty to do conceding so much weight to the selection.
