Verdict

SAM DA VINCI showed up nicely in bumpers before a couple of strong runs over hurdles and with that experience behind him he can take this under Rachel Blackmore. Nina Carberry has the ride on Gaius Marius and Noel Meade's charge, beaten a head by Gun Shy here last month, has to be a big threat. Jane Mangan has been in tremendous form so Georges Conn can be expected to get a good ride and he showed up for a long way on his debut over timber at Gowran in April. Keith's Delight did better on quicker ground at Wexford in October though faces race-fit rivals.
