Verdict

Solar Heat was engaged in the 6.35 at Kilbeggan yesterday. My Peggy went up 7lb for landing a Wexford handicap but very nearly defied the extra at Cork when conceding the winner 15lb. She's clearly in very good heart but has it all to do against CANADIAN STEEL (NAP). He completed a double over fences in May and has reverted to hurdles on a much lower mark, scoring with a bit in hand over the course and distance last month. Bythesametoken is still a maiden but ran easily his best race to date at Limerick last month and should have more to offer.
