In depth

Verdict

Sean Airgead hasn't won for over three years and though dropped to a lowly mark his best recent run came last time on heavy ground at Sligo over much shorter. Winning bumper Polish Partisan has yet to score in 20 starts over jumps while Galboystown Lady is another long-time maiden, though she showed a bit more at Sligo last month. CAPTURE THE DRAMA won a handicap at Tramore in June so easily that he went up 14lb and started a short-priced favourite at Clonmel a week later. That may have come too soon as he never looked like winning so with a break to aid his cause he's taken to land this poor contest. Robin Des People has run the occasional decent race over shorter and, if first-time blinkers have the desired effect, he could get into contention.
