SIR RASTON was brought down on his hurdling debut at Kilbeggan in July but had won his previous race at Dundalk and has since finished a close third in a handicap there. He looks to have the scope to do well over timber and can take care of Antiphony, who has already had eleven starts over hurdles and disappointed on too many occasions. Field Robin ran her best race to date when beaten a length at Kilbeggan so she can make further progress and Russellstown, who never reached a place in seven starts between the flags, has already proven himself a much better hurdler.
