Verdict

Taglietelle was a better hurdler than these but after a promising debut over fences at Galway he's lost his way. A faller at the first at Killarney, he looked to be feeling the effects when refusing back at Galway where he was struggling at the time. He should come good eventually but MARINERO looks the safest option. His recent second to Briar Hill at Killarney is smart form though he was receiving 13lb from Taglietelle when falling at the last in the race the latter won over hurdles at Aintree last year. Gordon Elliot also runs Isabella Liberty, who ran well over the course and distance last month before falling at Listowel. Swantykay is an experienced chaser who should get round which is more than can be said for his rivals.
