Verdict

The former Champion Chaser NEWMILL has been alternating between hurdles and fences this season but there's no doubt he has done better over timber with runs behind Sublimity and Fiveforthree proving he still has what it takes despite his advancing years. Fosters Cross beat Cross Appeal on the Flat at Navan in October but hasn't done as well as expected over hurdles subsequently though he's been facing some very stiff tasks. Cross Appeal has disappointed since landing a Grade 3 juvenile event in November 2009 and has had two poor efforts over fences recently but Wikaala, who has also been chasing, will have his favoured faster conditions.
