Verdict

I A Connect started odds-on at Kilbeggan but couldn't contain Shoe String and both winner and third have been well beaten subsequently. BUBBLES IN MAY attracted good support at Ballinrobe but looked in need of experience and couldn't handle Mars Harper. She'll improve for the run and can take care of Walking Frame, who was up with the pace throughout at the latter track last month but couldn't quicken at the business end. Phoenix Flower, the first foal of a winning jumper in France from a good family, could prove best of the remainder.
