WAR HERO has won six times here and started favourite for a Laytown claimer a month ago. He failed to take advantage of a much lower rating that day though didn’t get the run of the race. He finished just over two lengths behind Rocky Dreams here in the spring but is 11lb better off so must have a chance of reversing the form. The latter had House Of Kings just behind when runner-up over a mile a fortnight ago though there shouldn’t be much in it at the revised weights and both hold Spanish Tenor on that run. Hightown Heights had subsequent winner Sister Lola in second when scoring over the trip in October but didn’t produce a repeat performance a week later.
