Plenty of multiple course winners here including six-times winner Wild Shot and Drakensberg, four times successful on the track. Both of Timourid’s recent course victories have come in mile claimers while Stop On Red’s three track victories have also come over shorter. Very Excellent won a track and trip maiden last month but this can go to the lightly-raced ULSTER BLACKWATER (NAP), who looked like winning a 1m4f handicap here in October but was run out of it close home. His stablemate Adelisa won a Thurles maiden last month and didn’t enjoy heavy conditions at Galway next time.
