Geological has won four times around here and is only 1lb higher than his last victory so must enter calculations. Sors hasn't had much experience on the surface but has a course and distance victory to his credit and battled on strongly to beat ARCANEARS over slightly shorter at Navan. The runner-up was having only his sixth start and has run well around here so with further progress anticipated he gets the vote. Admiralty won twice on Turf in the summer and looked like making a winning start on this surface when leading at this trip a fortnight ago but was caught close home over an extra furlong. He's gone up 4lb but will make a bold bid and though Bay Of Skaill is 3lb out of the handicap she's been running well enough to give a good account.
