Four of the last five winners have been drawn high so stall 15 should suit Ghumama, who has been staying on strongly over 7f the last twice. Mulgrave ran his best race for some time last month while JERED MADDOX (NAP), who has won four times over shorter here, showed his liking for this trip when just failing to concede a stone to Stardayz a fortnight ago with Evening Verse a couple of lengths back in third. Barbapapa won a maiden here a year ago and was returning from a long break when leading for much of the way over the trip in December so should get in contention.
