    Verdict

MEHMAN caught stablemate Primo Uomo close home with Jawwaal a close third over the trip a month ago. The placed pair will be better off at the weights but the winner looked to have a bit in hand and can confirm the form. Mna Na Mhi looked a filly to follow when landing a maiden over the trip in good style last February but then ran poorly over an extra furlong a couple of weeks later and hasn't run since. Harmony Rose performed consistently on Turf last summer without winning and ran well on her only start here in July.
