Verdict

Banna Boirche goes well here and was second over a mile on his reappearance last month. But SOLENT RIDGE, fifth in the race last year, is starting to look very well handicapped and, with Megan Carberry claiming 10lb, Ger Lyons' charge is fancied to build on last week's third at Leopardstown. Billyford has returned to action after a long break in brilliant form and even a 4lb rise for his latest success shouldn't be enough to prevent another big run. Mountain Coral had been in good form here before running respectably in a better race at the Curragh's opening fixture where Luisant was behind and though Duff has gone backwards since his glory days his handicap mark reflects that.
