It was Shawkantango's turn to win last time and he scored over C&D in good style when beating Black Baccara but races off a career-high mark as a consequence. BLOWN IT's turn may have come around again today as he went very close over 6f here last week and won over track and trip in January. No Mean Trick is only 2lb higher than when winning at Southwell in February and is equally at home on the Polytrack, while Mother Jones landed a claimer at this track on her penultimate start which should give her the beating of Angelo Poliziano on collateral form. Diamond Vine seems better over 6f these days but Speightowns Kid has claims on his reappearance.
