Verdict
WAR HERO is 6-35 around here and comes out best at the weights on official ratings. He's gone close in his two latest runs, the latest from well out of the handicap, and it will be a surprise if he's not thereabouts. Rocky Dreams looks best of Denis Hogan's trio though he finished runner-up to Timourid in a similar race over a mile in November. The winner is better over that trip and his trainer could have a better chance with Hightown Heights, whose sole victory came in a similar race over the track and trip. Sister Rosetta was rated 95 as a two-year-old but failed to build on that promise last year though this will be her first start at this level.
