In depth

Verdict

Alfredo Arcano, eight times a winner around here, has a fitness advantage over his two main rivals though a mountain to climb on official ratings. The latter remark also applies to impressive maiden winner Woodrow, who is rated 34lb behind SPEAK IN COLOURS but receives only 7lb. Joseph O'Brien's charge won Group 2 and 3 contests on Turf last summer and, though having his first-ever start on an artificial surface, can take care of Harry's Bar, a recruit from James Fanshawe who landed a Listed contest for new connections here in November.
