Ellaria has only had four runs and she's a bit unlucky not to have lost her maiden tag. She's just failed to quicken over a mile the last twice and this looks her trip. Roachdale House has won three times on Turf but never on the all-weather though he's gone very close in two of his last three over the track and trip. He finished a long way behind Plough Boy in between but was badly drawn and the run is best ignored. That winner found dropping back to 6f against him three weeks ago when mid-division behind Geological with tonight's rival Split The Atom a close fourth. Lily's Prince signalled intentions when just touched off in November and had no problems going one better a month ago but Purple Party's best form in the UK was over further while Reddot Express only has one victory to date. TURN ON THE TEARS, a winner on only her second start for Jamie Osborne at Wolverhampton a year ago, reappeared over this track and trip last month and ran an excellent race to finish a very close fifth behind tonight's rival Dance Alone, form that may be good enough for this.
