Verdict

Denny Crane is always to be feared around here and won the previous race on the card a year ago. He had just over a length to spare over Carlito Brigante when successful over the trip in November but the runner-up, who was later in superb form over hurdles, is entitled to take revenge on these terms. Whether he'll be ready for this is another matter as hurdling will again be on the agenda and LEAVES YOU BABY can make her fitness advantage count. She was an unlucky loser in the race won by Navy List here last month and is given a chance to make amends. Harrison's Cave has run well here in the past and beat a big field on heavy ground at the Curragh while the progressive pair Jazz Girl and Sonapour can also go well in a competitive affair.
