Verdict

Moment Of Weakness attracted strong support on his debut here early last month and despite showing inexperience came home a head in front of Jolly Snake, who has won subsequently. Jessie Harrington's cheaply-bought youngster has a penalty to contend with and will find Clan Jock a fierce rival as this son of Holy Roman Emperor showed very good speed for a long way behind the promising Zoffany at Leopardstown and should be suited by the minimum trip. Ger Lyons has won both runnings of this race with well-backed juveniles so the presence of the very speedily-bred Cas Aue, a daughter of Chineur out of a mare who has produced the four-times winning sprinter Singeur, may have the bookies running for cover. MEOW is a daughter of Storm Cat out of the brilliantly-fast Airwave and on pedigree alone has to be worthy of the greatest respect. She's entered in all the top auction races this season and gets the vote to make a winning start.
