In depth
Verdict
Charmed stayed on well behind Grigorio Vasari over 6f at Naas then finished mid-division in the lucrative sales race at Naas. His stable also run the newcomer Shackleton Hero, who is related to nine winner including the useful Empowering. Hale Bopp made a bright start at Naas in June and his stable is in top form while Mickey The Steel defied a big SP with a fine debut behind Preamble at Fairyhouse last week. BEARS HUG showed very good pace behind Inca Prince at Dundalk last month and can reverse the form with runner-up Feeling Tip Top, who had much more experience.
