Verdict

Summer Tide looked as though he needed a real stamina test when staying on in a 2m4f Listowel bumper. Stormy Judge has no problems with the trip or testing ground having been placed over 3m in a Limerick handicap. Face The Odds and Captain Mc represent Noel Meade. The former is a winner between the flags but Sean Flanagan prefers the latter, who couldn't get close enough to mount a challenge when runner-up to Fancy Foundations over a furlong shorter here last month but was staying on. The winner is trained by Gordon Elliott, whose TULLYBEG gets the nod here. A winning bumper, he started odds-on for his hurdling bow here but was beaten by subsequent winner The Shunter then unseated his rider at the first at Gowran last week.
