Verdict

Alfredo Arcano has completed a double of 5f and 6f and this longer trip should hold no fears after a comfortable latest success. FIZZY FRIDAY came here for a maiden over the trip in November and, though unfancied, led at the two furlong pole and stayed on strongly for a convincing victory. The 5lb she receives from David Marnane's charge may just be enough to see her home. Ely Place has run well enough in his two starts here to suggest Jessica Harrington can find a handicap for him though the presence of Pat Smullen on board stable companion Make It Hurrah, who showed a lot more promise here last time, is intriguing. Michael Halford's newcomer Roman Wells is a half-brother to three all-weather winners and wouldn't need to be a world-beater to make his presence felt.
