Verdict

Platinum Warrior made a promising debut at the Curragh in August and showed the benefit when just failing to hold on over tonight's course and distance last month. He has an obvious chance of going one better while Insignia Of Rank was staying on strongly over 7f here last time and should be ideally suited by the extra. The remainder with experience have shown little so one of the newcomers may provide the most danger. Bridport is a 75,000gns son of High Chaparral from a mare from a smart family and hails from Joseph O'Brien's in-form yard but it's NATIONAL SECURITY who really catches the eye. Jim Bolger's Godolphin-owned son of Teofilo is a full-brother to four winners, including the Dewhurst winner Parish Hall, and gets the vote to make a successful debut.
