    Verdict

RUSSIAN SOUL and Togoville are prolific winners around here and met over the track and trip three weeks ago when the former just came out on top. The runner-up is 3lb better off so there's very little between them but the vote just goes to Michael Halford's veteran, who has since been beaten in Listed company at Lingfield. Yuften was a cracking three-year-old for William Haggas and was narrowly beaten in a Group 1 at Chantilly, though disqualified and placed fourth. Al Mohalhal ended his first campaign landing a tough Naas handicap and Jim Bolger wouldn't run a three-year-old against older horses at this stage of the season unless he thought they were capable of a big effort.
