AHAALY was strongly fancied to make a winning debut at Limerick but had to give best to the John Oxx-trained Shebella, who looks a really bright prospect. Kevin Prendergast's filly was caught near the finish of that 7f event and will find this trip ideal and will be very unfortunate to come up against one as good as the winner. Oxx looks the have the main threat in the shape of Wasabi's House, who started odds-on when outpaced by Nero Emperor over 5f here in November. She's made a bright start over the C&D earlier in the month and should improve this season. Art Show has been running consistently on the all-weather tracks in the UK for Ed Dunlop but it will be a surprise if she's good enough on her first start for new connections while Dream Applause will need to have made great strides over the winter if she's to get involved.
