In depth

Verdict

ZOZIMUS has had enough chances but has been narrowly beaten in his last three starts, two of them here, and Friday's close third to Lough Derg would probably be good enough. Shackleton Hero has shown good pace in both starts over 7f and won't be inconvenienced by stepping up while Business Speak has run in some strong maidens and is probably better than his form figures imply. Alice Kitty was obviously expected to do much better at Roscommon in June when starting favourite while Prairie Fire, a son of Raven's Pass, may prove best of the newcomers.
