Jackmel has won three times around here and though well beaten off this mark on his hat-trick bid Sam Ewing's 7lb claim puts him right back in the picture. Patchouli ran very well at the Curragh last week on just his second start for Denis Hogan, who will find a race for him before long. Latchet has been out of form though is 3lb lower than her last victory here a year ago but Kudbegood is 0-26 though has only run once here. EYE OF THE DRAGON was caught on the line at Cork and didn't get going until too late here next time. She's worth a punt in an open handicap in which Guiding is an obvious threat after last month's victory over 7f here, especially as that trip is short of her best.
