Verdict

Liberty To Rock and Heroine Chic dead-heated over the C&D in November but the latter, who will be 2lb better off and arrives in good form after her close second at Limerick, should come out on top this time. Cailin Coillteach finished sixth in that race here and though he's improved since he's never won over this trip. LIFT THE GLOOM had Heroine Chic behind when runner-up to Bendzoldan at Down Royal and though raised 4lb for that effort he looks capable of gaining his second victory over the C&D. Ferryview Place hasn't had much experience and ran moderately at the Curragh last time but has some strong form on the track and Johnny Murtagh's presence in the saddle suggests connections mean business.
