Verdict

Not surprisingly most of these would be happier jumping a set of hurdles including Couleur De La Loi, who was in good form over timber last summer. The lightly-raced Esharaat ran well in a similar event here in January though was about five lengths behind the runner-up Viaduct Joey, who continues to go well at this sort of level. Attenzione showed a bit of form for Marco Botti though takes a big step up in trip and hasn't run since August. Catimini has won a couple of minor races over hurdles, including when beating Dashing Lady a head over 2m4f at Wexford in October, but both are real staying types who may find even this trip on the short side. Res Ipsa Loquitur was in very good form on quick ground last summer and can go well if handling the surface but WELL TUNED is the pick on the balance of his form over timber, despite winning just once, and can hopefully overcome her lack of all-weather experience.
