Verdict

Settle For Red had been racing over shorter trips before making all a fortnight ago where he battled on well. He's only been raised 4lb and should give another good account. Headlong had been threatening to win a race for some time before landing a maiden a fortnight ago. This is tougher but Ross Coakley's claim should enable him to get competitive. Crown Pleasure had plenty of chances to win races in the UK and has joined a new yard so may need more time. Cristy's Call and BALMONT FLYER fought out the finish of a similar race a fortnight ago with the former looking as though he had a bit in hand. However, Pat Smullen's mount looked the likely winner for most of the race and is taken to turn the tables on 3lb better terms.
