Jim Bolger has booked a 10lb claimer for MAINICIN (NAP), three times a winner around here and only up 3lb for her latest victory in December. She's well in taking her rider's claim into consideration and he was on board for her victory on Turf in the summer. Political Policy had a run over hurdles last month and his recent efforts around here have been over 2m but he's won over the track and trip and Pat Smullen's presence is a bonus. Zaofu finished just in front of him last time and is undoubtedly better over this trip. He's well enough treated to get into the action while Financial Conduct has gradually improved and makes his handicap debut on what could prove a lenient mark. Alcander won a course and distance handicap in December but is 9lb higher.
