Free State, a winner over slightly shorter in January, had no problems staying this trip last week when an easy winner. Not surprisingly, the assessor has reacted with a 10lb rise. Baby Bellini finds himself at the head of the weights on his handicap debut and has a difficult task but fellow top weight Temasek Star should make a bold bid to add to his two victories gained over the course and distance just over a year ago as he's been running well. SHAKE THE BUCKET is back on the same mark as when last successful here in September and, though not the most consistent performer these days, is perfectly capable of taking this at his best so gets the vote with Tom Madden's claim a real bonus. Mountain Kingdom has been in winning form over hurdles and reverts to the Flat on such a lowly mark that he has to be a contender.
