In depth

Verdict

Shahaada finished runner-up at the Curragh on last year’s debut but that was over 7f. GINSBURG attempted to make all over the same distance here on her reappearance but faded in the closing stages and this shorter trip looks likely to suit on that evidence. Iva Batt showed some promise last term while Roses Blue ran well at Naas on her introduction last summer only to disappoint at Down Royal. Simba Power, Pride Of Tipperary and Pink Pearl are newcomers to note.
