Verdict
Red Contender beat seven rivals in a barrier trial here last week so is one to note. However, COULTHARD should lose his maiden tag with little fuss providing he takes to the surface as he's come up against some smart rivals on ground with plenty of give on Turf, including a close third in a Curragh Group 3. Anjalawi made a promising debut at the Curragh and started favourite at Cork next time but faded in the soft ground after attempting to make all. Zaffy's Pride was only beaten a head on her debut over the track and trip and wasn't suited by dropping down slightly at Navan but Takeko hasn't progressed since a close third at the Curragh in June. Charmed ran very well when runner-up to Giorgio Vasari at Naas then finished mid-division in a lucrative sales race back there.
