In depth

Verdict

George Boughey has his string firing on all cylinders and Mirage Mac made a winning debut in a higher grade at Wolverhampton and will be tough to beat if showing the same ability on Turf but HAAJOOS is receiving 2lb and just preferred on this occasion. A half-brother to a winning miler in Ireland, the Tamayuz colt was easy to back and slowly away on debut at Kempton but was staying on strongly once the penny dropped. Lisdarragh is a likely improver and This Ones For Fred is progressing with experience while Dark Motive looks the pick of the newcomers.
